Usually hosts non-serious teams that are already established in other leagues and only play for medals.
Hosts Sixes, Highlander, and other formats without prize pools.
Before you play, you should do 3 things:
1. Configure your game
See the basic competitive config asset page for more information.
2. Learn strategies
Watch videos, competitive matches, and gather advice from other players.
3. Play PUGs (practice games) that simulate what a game is like.
View the Pickup Games dropdown on the home for your region, such as newbie.tf for North Americans.
As the case with anything - practice makes perfect!
Congratulations! You're finally on a team!
Whether you started a team by yourself or joined someone else's team, WELCOME!
You will soon be playing official matches!
Communication with your team is always key, they are there to help you!
While you are playing competitive, be sure to keep a healthy mindset!
Avoid players that use personal attacks, racism, or other offensive behaviour. THIS IS NOT SPORTSMANSHIP!
If you encounter this behaviour:
1. Block communication with the player
2. Report the player to your league staff
Please help keep the community a safe space for ALL!
